Caroline DeMasi: Class of 2018 - I took this class because I was in it last year and really enjoyed the experience. I love helping people with their technology problems and I’d like to go into a technology field for a job someday. I like playing video games both single player and with friends, computer programming, and browsing the occasional online meme. I want to focus on the hardware in computers and learn how to fix screens and other hardware.
Tom Callaghan: Class of 2019- I took this class because I am interested in technology and I wanted to learn more about it. I wanted to know what actually happens behind the case of the computer and not just what appears on the screen. I enjoy video games, computer programming, and hanging out with my friends online. I want to focus on learning about hardware and software within computers. This class gives me the opportunity to learn about all types of technology.
Jenn O'Connell: Class of 2018- I’m taking this class because with technology becoming not only so pervasive in society but also just so important for students and professionals alike that technological skills are only going to become more and more necessary as time goes on. I also enjoy theater arts of all kinds, and reading, writing, and performing slam poetry.
Sha Anwar: Class of 2017 - I took this class because I believe technology should be used in the classrooms. The use of technology is a major part of the future and if we do not get this done in WMHS, we would be far behind. This class allows me to take part in the future and help WMHS get to where it should be. Some hobbies that I have include programming, photo editing, and gaming. I hope to learn more about technology in order to become a Computer Science major.
Tyler Jodoin: Class of 2017- I took this class because I enjoy technology and working with it. This class will also help me on my way into the subject I want to major in. I like to play video games and to take apart things such as computers. I hope to get a general knowledge of everything in this class.
Dylan Dennen: Class of 2018 - I took this class because i want to learn more about technology and to pursue a career in technology. I like to play video games (a lot) and I also enjoy helping people who have technical problems or questions and don't have the knowledge to help themselves. I want to specialize in computer hardware in this class specifically CPU architecture.
Mark Chiodi: - Class of 2017 - My name is Mark Chiodi. I have been in Technology Integration since my sophomore year. I have knowledge in most areas of computers and online applications. I can help with most problems that may occur in a computer. I received my training by Mr.Martin sophomore year and my knowledge of computers has forever increasing since then. My Sophomore year I helped set up the various computer labs with the PARK test with Jeff Weiner and Donna Cushman. My project was done in time and worked properly for 100% of the computers used. My Junior year I worked on preparing the teacher laptops with an operating system of windows 10 with Mr.Martin and another student that I have been passing my knowledge to, Caroline Demasi. The project worked with minor flaws with teacher profiles but slowly smoothed out and is now fully operational. This current year I have been working on putting windows 10 in the computer labs and later on this year I plan on setting up windows 10 on laptops for the other surrounding schools with Mr.Martin and Caroline Demasi. What I love about technology is how useful it is and how it can be used in all parts of education. I look forward to helping teachers with any and all computer problems. I am in my technology class durring D and F block. I have ASC durring G block and I am more than willing to come and help with a computer problem before school, after school or in between periods if you catch me in the halls. I highly recommend if you can’t get a hold of me to request help from Caroline Demasi. She has the same expertise as me and is available A block durring her Tech integration class. I look forward to helping anyone I can. Thank you for reading my BIO!
Ryan Macnevin: Class of 2019 - My Name Is Ryan MacNevin, I was born on Sep 20, 2000. My parents had me playing some computer games when I was less than a year old. Since then I have always been interested in computers and video games. I have played hours on hours worth of video games such as League of Legends, Call of Duty, Overwatch, and many many others, and I have always been interested in programming and designing games. I have experience in coding with Museum of Science Summer Camp and ID Tech camp. I have worked with Java, C++, C#, and Unity. I also teamed up with my friend David to build a gaming PC for me.
I’ve decided to take Tech Integration to help others and myself learn more about the technology that I am so fond of. Being able to fix problems that I would previously have to ask someone else to do for me is an exciting concept, as my computers have several problems most of the time. I also want to learn about the hardware and “specs” of computers so that I can help build some in the future. To help my friend David’s new business of building PCs.
Samuel Deane: Class of 2018- My name is Sam Deane and I’ve been involved in technology since I was a kid. The first time I used technology was using the Game Boy and the Game Boy Advanced. With this I was introduced to Pokemon Yellow. After playing that for awhile, before it got outdated, I moved onto the Xbox. The first game I played was Halo 2. I started playing it when I was 7 years old. From watching my dad play a lot over the past few years I jumped in and was pretty good. As time went on I moved onto Halo 3 and a lot of sports games. At one point I started playing minecraft in 5th grade.
A few years later I was introduced to a game called league of legends by my cousin during one of his yearly summer visits. I quickly started playing a lot of games on my computer rather than my consoles. I’ve been playing lots of different games on my laptop since including league of legends. Over time I’ve learned more and more about computers and how they work and what is needed to make the best computer. This was how I got my love for technology
Brett Maloney: Class of 2017 - My name is Brett Maloney and I’m a senior here at Wakefield High School. My interest include playing baseball, and my goal after I graduate is to go to college to study Broadcasting, and hopefully one day land a job at MLB Network. I’m also very involved in the community as I coach to basketball teams for the Wakefield Basketball Association, and I’m involved in Peer Leaders, and use to do Best Buddies.
As for school, I do really enjoy the use of technology. When I started trying to get use to the new way of life in using technology is came pretty easy to me and I was something I thought I knew enough of to help others. Last Year, I was approached by Mr. Gosselin about taking Tech Integration because of my knowledge in the social media aspect of Technology. Although Mr. Gosselin left I decided to stay with Tech Integration because I feel like I can learn a lot about the other parts of a computer and all the behind the scenes work, and not just what you see on the screen.
